Ahold Delhaize takes 370 GWh a year for 10 years from a 1.3 GWp Romanian solar park and a 300 MW wind farm - the price is blank, the shops do not take the power, and the page names no battery
On 5 November 2026 Rezolv Energy said it signed a 10-year virtual power purchase agreement with Ahold Delhaize for 370 GWh a year from the 1.3 GWp Dama Solar project and the 300 MW Dunarea East wind farm. The page expects the two projects to generate about 2,580 GWh a year and calls the contract about 14 percent of that. Guarantees of origin run for 10 years from commercial operation in 2029. No euro price is printed. No battery is named.
A retailer signed for a large block of Romanian renewable power. The block is a paper contract. The shops do not take the electrons. The page names no battery.
On 5 November 2026 Rezolv Energy said it signed a 10-year virtual power purchase agreement with Ahold Delhaize. The volume is 370 GWh a year. The plants are the 1.3 GWp Dama Solar project in Arad County and the 300 MW Dunarea East wind farm in Constanța County. A virtual contract settles on paper. The release says Ahold Delhaize receives guarantees of origin for 10 years, starting when the projects enter commercial operation in 2029. A guarantee of origin is a certificate for renewable generation. It is not a wire into a named shop. The page does not name the stores, the country of those stores, or a euro price.
The output lines. The page expects the two projects to generate about 2,580 GWh a year, and it calls that almost 5 percent of Romania's electricity consumption in 2025. It does not print the consumption total, so the 5 percent cannot be checked from the page alone. It expects Dama Solar to generate around 1,800 GWh a year. It does not print a separate figure for the wind farm. 2,580 minus 1,800 is 780, our arithmetic, and only if the two figures share a year and do not overlap. The page says Ahold Delhaize covers approximately 14 percent of the combined output. 370 divided by 2,580 is 0.143, our arithmetic, about 14.3 percent. The page prints both 370 GWh and "approximately 14 percent". It does not print a worked fraction.
The solar park. The page calls Dama Solar 1.3 GWp, on more than 1,000 hectares, and says that once it is operating it would be the largest onshore renewable project in the European Union. That ranking is the company's sentence. A footnote says the 1,800 GWh figure is 36.3 percent of Romania's 2025 solar generation, and it cites Ember for 4.96 TWh of solar in 2025. 1.8 divided by 4.96 is 0.363, our arithmetic, which matches the footnote's 36.3 percent. The footnote is the page's working. It is not a second meter.
The wind farm is 300 MW. The page says both projects received contracts for difference in Romania's second auction in 2025, and that the three successful bids covered 731.2 MW of combined capacity. It does not say how many of those megawatts sit inside Dama's 1.3 GWp, or inside the 300 MW wind farm. 1.3 GWp is 1,300 MW in that unit, our conversion of the prefix. 731.2 is a smaller number. The page does not reconcile the two. A contract for difference is a top-up against a market price. The page does not print the strike price.
No battery. The contract on the page is solar and wind. A box that moves noon power into the evening is not in the release. The power on the page starts in 2029, not this winter. Rezolv calls this its eighth virtual agreement in Romania and Bulgaria, the first on these two projects, and the first with a retailer. A retailer buying certificates is a workplace energy buyer. The loading-bay meter is a different instrument, and this page does not show it.
Analogy: 370 GWh is a stack of certificates and a financial line, for ten years, from 2029. It is not the meter in the loading bay. The euro price is blank. The battery is absent.
Good: A dated company release, a named buyer, a named seller, 370 GWh, 10 years, 2029, two plant sizes, and a plain line that the instrument is virtual and pays guarantees of origin.
Bad: No euro price. No battery. No shop list. The consumption total behind "almost 5 percent" is not on the page. 780 GWh and 14.3 percent and 1,300 MW are our arithmetic. The 731.2 MW line is not split between the two plants. The "largest in the European Union" line is the company's. The Ember figure is the footnote's citation, not a table printed in full.
Ugly: Reading 370 GWh as power delivered to a supermarket this year. Adding a battery the page does not name. Treating 14 percent and 370 GWh as a clash the page already settled. Using 731.2 MW as the size of the solar park. Using the footnote's 36.3 percent as the share Ahold Delhaize bought.
Soft next step: write 370 GWh, 10 years and 2029 on the contract line, and leave the euro price blank.

Primary for the 10-year virtual agreement, 370 GWh a year, the 1.3 GWp Dama Solar project in Arad County, the 300 MW Dunarea East wind farm in Constanța County, about 2,580 GWh a year from the two projects, approximately 14 percent of combined output, around 1,800 GWh a year from Dama Solar, guarantees of origin for 10 years from commercial operation in 2029, more than 1,000 hectares, the company's sentence on the largest onshore renewable project in the European Union, the footnote citing Ember for 4.96 TWh of Romanian solar in 2025 and 36.3 percent, contracts for difference from Romania's second auction in 2025, three successful bids covering 731.2 MW, and the description of the deal as Rezolv's eighth virtual agreement in Romania and Bulgaria, the first on these two projects, and the first with a retailer. The page does not print a euro price, a battery, a shop list, Romania's consumption total, or a strike price. 2,580 minus 1,800, 370 divided by 2,580, 1.8 divided by 4.96, and 1.3 GWp read as 1,300 MW, are our arithmetic. The page does not print 780, 0.143 or 1,300.
