A Czech industrial group signed a 20-year contract for power from 27 MW of solar and a 10 MW battery - the developer owns the plant, and the price is blank

On 19 October 2026 Enery said it is adding a 27 MWp solar plant and a 10 MW / 20 MWh battery in Czechia, with power planned for the second half of 2027. An unnamed Czech industrial group signed a 20-year near-site contract for more than 400 GWh. Enery says it owns and runs the assets. SITA reported on 20 October that the investment, the contract price and the partner's name were not published.

   Dominion sketches 3.5 GW of grid batteries over 20 years - the April law tells that utility to seek 16,000 MW of shorter batteries and 4,000 MW of longer ones

   On 15 October 2026 Dominion filed a full plan in North Carolina and an interim update in Virginia. Energy-Storage.News says the preferred plan totals 3.5 GW of batteries, and about 50 MW of company-owned batteries are running. Chapter 694, approved 13 April 2026, tells the Phase II utility to petition for 16,000 MW of batteries under 10 hours by 2045, and 4,000 MW of batteries of 10 hours or more. The long-battery lines wait on a commission finding. A household bill path is printed. A factory invoice is not.

   A Malaysian company buying green power across the grid pays 4 sen per kWh - the developer's 14 sen fee is a different line, fixed for 10 years

   On 15 October 2026 the Energy Commission said green consumers in the CRESS Acceleration Package pay a separate 4 sen/kWh, tied to the Regulatory Period 4 tariff and open to review with that tariff. Eligible developers pay 14 sen/kWh, fixed for 10 years from commercial operation, if the plant is running by 31 December 2028. About 3 GW of projects are in the pipeline. The statement does not print a combined 18 sen rate, and it does not print a savings figure.

   Ireland doubled a workplace loan pot to €1 billion - renewable energy is named, and the extra green discount is 0.25%

   On 12 October 2026 the Growth and Sustainability Loan Scheme went from €500 million to €1 billion, open until 30 June 2029. Loans run from €25,000 to €3 million for 7 to 10 years, unsecured up to €500,000. The department names renewable energy as a use. SBCI takes another 0.25% off the rate when the spend qualifies as climate or environmental work. It is a loan, not the SEAI grant.
